Sometimes you will need to move one of the pages of your site to a new location. Using the Page Manager's "Move" feature you can both change the order of a page (e.g. move it before or after other pages) and move it to a new section (e.g. from being a main page to a sub page).
To move a page, follow these instructions.
Next to each page in the Page Manager page list, there is a cross arrow icon which opens the move page screen. Simply click this icon next to the page that you wish to move.
In this example, we are moving the "About Us" page. The page list shows the structure of the site, with the current location of the page you are moving (and any related sub pages) displayed feintly:
There are 3 places that a page can be moved to:
All of these options can be accessed with a single click - simply use the "Show move options" link next to the page you wish to move the page before, after, or to a sub page of. In the example, we will place the "About Us" page after the "Slideshow" page:
The screenshot shows that after clicking "Show move options", the three options appear as a preview with a pale red background.
Click the "Move Here" option next to the location that you wish to move the page to. In the example we wish to move the "About Us" page below the "Slideshow" page, so we use the bottom of the 3 options.
Click "OK" when prompted to complete the move and return to the Page Manager.
